Hu Zhende | Art profile

Born in December 1951, people from Xianyou, Fujian.

Currently:

A member of the Chinese Artists Association

Professor and vice president of Academy of Fine Arts, Fujian Normal University

Dean of the Fujian Straits Cultural and Art Research Institute

The first and second session art teaching guidance committee member of the National Ministry of Education

Vice president of the Fuzhou Association of Chinese oil painting society.

In 1977, he graduated from Fujian normal university of the art department, with excellent grades and taught there. In 1979, he went to Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts to study sketch for a year, in 1985, he admitted to the China Central Academy of Fine Arts senior oil painting seminar course for two years. From 1991 to 1995, he lived in Europe, Middle East and many countries for artistic inspection and academic exchange activities, he also gave lectures in UAE and Finland, and successfully held fifteen exhibitions at home and abroad. He is good at figure painting and is fond of landscape art. The works have participated in various art exhibitions both at home and abroad and were collected by art institutions.

Award and publication of the works:

Oil painting "Celebration", "Native Love", “Romantic Charm of Taimu Mountain” won the Excellence Award and Bronze Award of the National Art Exhibition, and won the Baihua literary second-prize, third-prize of the provincial government, he studies the ink landscape painting techniques for long time, and research the fusion performance of Chinese landscape painting spirit in landscape oil painting;

 The publication of "Hu Zhende’s Oil Painting Album", "Hu Zhende’s Album", "the most Valuable Collection of Chinese Painter Hu Zhende".

China's famous critic professor Shao Dazhen in the article of "art observation" 2008 ninth “a valuable exploration of freehand brushwork-- reading Hu Zhende’s oil painting”, thinks that he is “the painter worthy of attention in painting circles today”, "Literature and art research", "art observation", "Chinese oil painting", "people's net", "Art China" and so on, all introduced Hu Zhende’s oil painting research results.
